Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a surgical technique in which individual hair follicles are taken from a donor area — usually the back and sides of the scalp — and placed where hair has thinned.
Is it right for me?
Not everyone is a suitable candidate, and that is decided only by a clinician after a consultation. Things that are usually discussed include the pattern and stability of hair loss, the donor area, your expectations and your general health.
Planning
Your plan covers the area to be treated, the approximate number of grafts, the design of your hairline and what to expect over the following months. You’ll receive a written estimate before you decide anything.
Preparation and recovery guidance is given personally at your consultation, based on your plan.
